QiGong and Tai Chi Walking (in person)
Relaxing, mindful movement
Service Description
Follow along with simple, slow, guided movements to benefit both mind and body….great for stress relief, lowering blood pressure, strengthening muscles, improving balance, supporting organ health through acupressure points, regulating emotions, and increasing immunity. qi= life energy; gong = skill cultivated over time This is a grounding and calm practice, moving slowly and with your mind connected to your movements. You learn to listen to your body and feel the energy as you cultivate it. Tai chi walking is simply stepping with breath and awareness. It helps to increase mindfulness while stepping. It trains balance, joint health (ankles, knees, hips), core stability, coordination, calm focus and confidence in movement. You’ll learn to complete each step fully; move without rushing, stay rooted while moving forward. Every Monday evening 6-7pm and Wednesday morning 11am-12pm at the Adora Trails Community center yoga studio. There are some weeks where I will be out of town, so please register through my website to receive emails about the cancelled classes. Any changes to the schedule and cancellations will be announced via email.
